NCS is an experienced water and wastewater engineering consulting firm with offices in Phoenix, Arizona, Los Angeles, California, Irvine, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, Houston, Texas, and Baltimore, Maryland. We provide a wide range of civil, water, wastewater, environmental, stormwater, grant administration, financial assistance and research-related services to public agencies and private sector clients throughout the United States and Canada.

The company was established in 1998 to meet a growing need for excellence within the industry of water engineering services. NCS is an industry leader in water and wastewater treatment, hydraulic modeling, construction management and water quality research studies.

NCS is proud of the fact that, in the 15 years we have been providing Professional Engineering Services, there has never been a claim filed against the company nor have we been involved in any litigation. This is attributable to our management of the costs, change orders, and quality contractors' work. In many instances we will work closely with a “less than skilled” contractor to meet the objectives to assist with the duties as needed. We feel this is due to our Quality Control Program and our steadfast requirement that all our employees avoid any Conflict of Interest as it concerns a present or future client. We do not work for developers, as we serve as the client’s representative.

NCS is a pioneer in several facets of engineering, including innovative water treatment methods, regulatory compliance, distribution system water quality issues, and residuals handling and disposal concerns. We have demonstrated this pioneering spirit by designing the first granular iron media adsorption system in the United States to treat arsenic in drinking water.

• Preliminary designs for these treatment alternatives were developed and compared on the basis of costs and non-cost factors.
• Based on the evaluation, chlorination with sedimentation and catalytic media filtration was recommended for iron and manganese control.
• The PER was used to obtain USDA funding for the project.
