Overview

NCS is an experienced water and wastewater engineering consulting firm with offices in Phoenix, Arizona, Los Angeles, California, Irvine, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Baltimore, Maryland. We provide a wide range of civil, water, wastewater, environmental, stormwater, grant administration, financial assistance and research-related services to public agencies and private sector clients throughout the United States and Canada.

The company was established in 1998 to meet a growing need for excellence within the industry of water engineering services. NCS is an industry leader in water and wastewater treatment, hydraulic modeling, construction management and water quality research studies.

Established 1998

February 1998 doesn’t seem that long ago. The last 26-plus years have been busy, successful, challenging and rewarding. We have enjoyed working together with contractors, owners, municipalities and suppliers. To date, we have been associated with over 1 Billion in construction projects. That’s a lot of water (and wastewater!) under the bridge!

From the start and as we’ve grown, adding new offices and personnel, the one constant is our commitment to excellent performance and return-of-investment for our clients – and it shows. NCS has no claims, terminations or litigation in the 26 years we’ve been in business.

NCS Leadership

With a combined experience of more than 140 years, the NCS leadership team provides a depth of expertise which allows us to provide innovative solutions to our clients’ most complex water, wastewater, and water reuse issues.

The NCS Leadership Team has created a culture of innovation and a solutions orientation combined with an employee-centric approach steeped in employee development and hands-on mentoring. Together we solve our clients’ most perplexing issues with creative, yet pragmatic solutions.

NCS Staff

NCS’ staff consists of the most dynamic, multi-talented professionals with specialized experience within their field. The firm employs more than 50 individuals in the fields of engineering, technical expertise, construction inspection and administrative support. Further, 80% of NCS’ engineers hold Master’s or Ph.D. degrees. Our diverse staff hold water system operator licenses, NICET certifications, OSHA training certificates, and is active in several local and national industry organizations, such as the American Water Works Association, American Public Works Association, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

In addition to a technically superior work force, NCS encourages and promotes a diverse staff, as the firm employs a large number of highly qualified minorities and women holding responsible positions.

We have some new challenges as we start the next decade – the environment and balancing the current economy while maintaining standards. Our answer is to provide more value-added services and increased efficiency. NCS has expanded all our offices. NCS is proud of the services we provide, and our expanding area of service, to rural communities of the Southwest. We look forward to developing relationships with outlying townships to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions to their water treatment facilities dilemmas.
