Paradise Valley Plaza Water Lines
New 8-inch pipelines and valves for fire protection were designed to rehabilitate the older smaller lines for upgrades to this new commercial complex. The project included Right-of-Way acquisition,
landscape restoration, and potholing.
Chaparral Water Treatment Plant Membrane System Pump System Upgrades
NCS redesigned the backpulse and clean-in-place pumps that serve the membrane filtration process to accommodate new hydraulic grade lines and improve the membrane cleaning and backwash process.
Booster Station 94 & 114 Upgrades
NCS completed the design of these two booster stations with firm capacities of 300 and 250 gpm each, for Sites 94 and 117, respectively. NCS designed new energy-efficient vertical turbine pumps to replace the older units, after performing steady state modeling of the zones to optimize the pump design. The project included site and electrical improvements also, along with new fire pumps.
Chaparral WTP Raw Water Pipeline Vault
NCS designed a new precast vault for flushing and cleaning the 36-inch raw water pipeline that serves this plant. The vault included all safety features, access ladder, blow-off piping and a cleaning access port.
